Nakayoshi is the more compact graphic option: it leaves plenty of plain fabric around the characters. Blue Rose uses more of the shirt surface, especially on the back. If you normally wear a backpack or a jacket, consider how often the back artwork will be visible before making that your deciding feature.
Two ways to wear blue
For Nakayoshi, light denim and a small bag keep the front illustration visible. For Blue Rose, dark trousers and understated accessories let the blue-on-blue print carry the outfit. Both work with a plain open layer; compare each product’s size chart separately.
