Weezer Setlist Predictions for The Gathering: October 20–24, 2026

Editorial Weezer setlist predictions illustration with a blue electric guitar, amplifier and paper setlist.

Weezer’s remaining October 2026 shows look most likely to follow a 26-song live set, opening with “Shine Again” and closing with “Island in the Sun.” The strongest clue is the recent Texas run: Houston, Dallas and Austin share 25 reported live songs in the same relative order, with one rotating selection after “C.E.O.” For Phoenix, our tentative pick for that slot is “Say Yes.”

Research cutoff: October 19, 2026, before the Phoenix concert. This is an independent editorial forecast, not an official setlist announcement. Dates and venue times below are local to each concert.

If you are building a playlist before the show, start with the running order below. The main uncertainty is the rotating song, rather than a completely different set every night.

Weezer’s next shows: October 20–24, 2026

The remaining dates on this North American leg are listed in Live Nation’s tour announcement. The Shins and Silversun Pickups are the announced special guests; check the event page for any changes.

Remaining October dates and our rotating-song forecast
Date City and venue Tentative slot 10 pick
October 20, 2026 Phoenix, AZ — Mortgage Matchup Center Say Yes
October 21, 2026 San Diego, CA — Viejas Arena Hoops
October 23, 2026 Las Vegas, NV — T-Mobile Arena The LA Sound
October 24, 2026 Los Angeles, CA — Crypto.com Arena Say Yes

Those song picks extend the recent three-song rotation one concert at a time. They are conditional predictions: a change in Phoenix would weaken the later picks immediately. The Los Angeles date closes this leg, but there is no verified basis here for promising a special finale set or surprise guest.

Predicted Weezer setlist for the remaining October shows

Use this as the baseline running order for The Gathering. All 25 named songs outside slot 10 appear in the three recent Texas reports we compared. Their inclusion has stronger support than any particular rotating-song pick. Exact arrangements, guest appearances and order can still change.

  1. Shine Again
  2. Surf Wax America
  3. Keep Fishin’
  4. Hash Pipe
  5. The Good Life
  6. No Other One
  7. Lonely Girl
  8. Slob
  9. C.E.O.
  10. Rotating slot: Say Yes / Hoops / The LA Sound
  11. Beverly Hills
  12. Across the Sea
  13. Longtime Sunshine
  14. In the Garage
  15. Pork and Beans
  16. My Name Is Jonas
  17. Aloo Gobi
  18. Pink Triangle
  19. We Might as Well Be Strangers
  20. Go Away
  21. I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams
  22. Undone – The Sweater Song
  23. El Scorcho
  24. Say It Ain’t So
  25. Buddy Holly
  26. Island in the Sun

The evidence comes from the reported setlists for Houston on October 16, Dallas on October 17 and Austin on October 18. These are community-edited records, not band-issued documents. The Austin page is flagged “Setlist incomplete?”, so its omissions should be treated cautiously.

One counting detail matters: Dallas and Austin also list an “Island in the Sun” tape interlude before “Longtime Sunshine.” We exclude playback from the numbered live-song forecast. That explains why a page can show 27 entries while this guide predicts 26 live songs; the full live version of “Island in the Sun” remains at the end.

Why “Say Yes” is our Phoenix pick

The recent Weezer show reports show a repeating sequence at the tenth live-song position:

  • Atlanta, October 10: The LA Sound
  • Orlando, October 11: Say Yes
  • Sunrise, October 13: Hoops
  • Tampa, October 14: The LA Sound
  • Houston, October 16: Say Yes
  • Dallas, October 17: Hoops
  • Austin, October 18: The LA Sound

Continuing that sequence puts “Say Yes” next, followed by “Hoops” and “The LA Sound.” This is more useful than picking a fan favorite at random, but a repeated sequence is evidence of a pattern, not a commitment by the band. We do not assign a numerical probability from such a small, non-random sample.

Which parts of the set have the strongest support?

The opening run

The first nine songs match across all three Texas reports. That makes the stretch from “Shine Again” through “C.E.O.” the most stable opening template in this comparison. For playlist preparation, preserve that order instead of starting with a generic greatest-hits sequence.

The closing stretch

The same reports finish with “Undone – The Sweater Song,” “El Scorcho,” “Say It Ain’t So,” “Buddy Holly” and “Island in the Sun,” in that order. Those five are therefore strong inclusion picks. The sources do not require us to label them a separate encore, so we describe them simply as the closing stretch.

The guest section and acoustic arrangements

All three Texas reports credit Nikki Monninger on the consecutive section covering “We Might as Well Be Strangers,” “Go Away” and “I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams.” That supports expecting the section to remain, while the specific guest participation is still unconfirmed for each upcoming night. Recent reports also identify an acoustic treatment for “In the Garage”; arrangements are less certain than song inclusion.

Why this differs from the early-tour average

Ticketmaster’s September 11 setlist guide is useful early-tour context, but its list includes “Falling for You” and “Tired of Sex.” The three later Texas records instead contain “Across the Sea” and the rotating slot. We therefore use the more recent reports for this forecast, rather than treating the September average as a fixed script.

Neither of those earlier selections makes our baseline. Their absence from a three-show sample does not rule out a return; it simply gives them less support than the songs listed above.

⏱️ Start times and concert length

The Phoenix event page lists 7:00 p.m. and doors one hour earlier. Viejas Arena lists 6:00 p.m. doors and a 7:00 p.m. scheduled start, while Crypto.com Arena also lists 6:00 p.m. doors and a 7:00 p.m. event start. These event listings should not be read as confirmed Weezer stage times.

The reported headline sets in Houston and Austin lasted about 100 and 105 minutes respectively. That is a practical planning reference, not a guaranteed runtime or curfew for your venue. Arrive for the advertised event start if you want to catch the support acts, and follow venue updates for the final schedule.

How to use this forecast before your show

Build a playlist around the 25 shared songs, add all three rotation candidates, and check the preceding concert’s report before leaving. For San Diego, the Phoenix result is the most useful next piece of evidence; for Las Vegas and Los Angeles, each subsequent show can test whether the sequence is continuing.
