October 25, 2026 · Bremen · Updated October 20
Bob Dylan’s Bremen concert is on Sunday, October 25 at ÖVB-Arena: doors open at 18:30 and the show starts at 20:00. Plan around two details now: this is a phone-free evening, and Bürgerweide parking is unavailable because of the Bremer Freimarkt.
Once you are inside, the attraction is a set that can shift from “Tangled Up in Blue” to “Crossing the Rubicon” without settling into a greatest-hits routine. This guide pairs our predicted songs with the entry, payment and travel decisions that will let you enjoy them without last-minute distractions.
The official ÖVB-Arena event page confirms the schedule, address, phone policy and Freimarkt parking restriction.
Your Bremen arrival plan: account for the Freimarkt
The arena’s event-specific notice says there are no parking spaces on Bürgerweide because of the Bremer Freimarkt, and recommends public transport. Build your journey around that notice rather than a generic arena parking search.
Set your destination to ÖVB-Arena, Findorffstraße 101, 28215 Bremen. Check your outward and late-evening return services on the day, then save the route somewhere you can consult without unlocking a phone. If you are travelling with friends, agree on a meeting point before reaching the entrance.
Before leaving
Make the return plan first
Choose a practical way back to your hotel or station and keep more than one departure option. Avoid building the journey around an assumed concert finish time. Leave room for the walk out and the phone-pouch unlocking process.
From 18:30
Use the entry window
Doors open 90 minutes before the scheduled start. Arriving during that window gives you time for the ticket and bag check, Yondr arrangements, and finding your seat. The venue explicitly says the performance starts punctually at 20:00.
How the phone-free concert works
According to the arena’s Yondr instructions, your phone goes into a locked pouch that stays with you during the concert. Staff unlock it on the way out. The venue also describes a designated phone-use area; after a call, the phone must be placed back in the pouch and resealed.
For anyone accustomed to using a phone as ticket wallet, bank card, map and meeting point all at once, the simplest preparation is to separate those jobs before entering.
- Have the ticket ready. Follow your issuer’s instructions and keep it accessible for the entry check.
- Bring a physical Girocard/EC debit card. The event notice specifically flags EC-card payment, so do not rely on a mobile wallet.
- Write down your route and meeting point. A small card in your wallet is enough.
- Tell companions when you will be offline. Make any essential arrangements before the pouch is sealed.
If you need a smartphone for a medical function, speak to staff at entry. The venue says Yondr provides wristbands and instructions for those guests.
Our predicted Bremen setlist — and a listening map
We expect a broad sweep across Dylan’s catalog, with the current European sequence as the guide. Our forecast below follows the October 19 Gothenburg show; the October 17 Oslo set supplies the clearest clues to possible rotations.
- To Be Alone with You
- Man in the Long Black Coat
- It Ain’t Me, Babe
- Tryin’ to Get to Heaven
- False Prophet
- I Can Tell
- Black Rider
- Tangled Up in Blue
- When I Paint My Masterpiece
- Girl from the North Country
- Crossing the Rubicon
- Soon After Midnight
- Spirit on the Water
- Under the Red Sky
- I’ve Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You
- Goodbye Jimmy Reed
- I Shall Be Released
- Every Grain of Sand
Opening stretch: let the mood change
“To Be Alone with You” and “Man in the Long Black Coat” began both recent shows. Follow that contrast rather than expecting one unbroken mood. “Tryin’ to Get to Heaven” also appeared in both, giving the early section a thread of longing beneath the more direct songs.
Middle stretch: familiar titles beside newer shadows
“Tangled Up in Blue” and “When I Paint My Masterpiece” give first-time attendees recognizable landmarks. Around them, the Gothenburg set moved through “False Prophet,” “Black Rider” and “Crossing the Rubicon.” That juxtaposition is the appeal: older songs do not have to sit in a separate nostalgic block.
For a useful pre-show listening session, pair “Man in the Long Black Coat” with “Black Rider,” then “Girl from the North Country” with “I’ve Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You.” The first pairing brings the darker atmosphere into focus; the second puts two very different love songs in conversation. This is our listening suggestion, not a proposed performance sequence.
Closing stretch: keep an ear on the final choice
Both Oslo and Gothenburg included the late run of “I’ve Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You,” “Goodbye Jimmy Reed” and “I Shall Be Released.” Gothenburg then ended with “Every Grain of Sand”; Oslo chose “You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere.” We lean toward “Every Grain of Sand” for Bremen, with that final slot one of the most interesting details to watch.
Oslo also introduced Randy Newman’s “Louisiana 1927” and Guy Clark’s “Dublin Blues,” as noted by Dylan’s official site. Neither appeared in Gothenburg. Have them on your listening list alongside “Early Roman Kings,” which featured in Oslo, as alternatives that could change the shape of the evening.
What to wear: a simple outfit with a Bremen keepsake
The Bremen harmonica portrait T-shirt shown above is the piece we would build around: white shirt, dark denim or trousers, comfortable shoes and a removable jacket. The monochrome artwork is easy to combine with clothes you already own, while the city-date design gives it a connection to this particular stop.
MerchReport lists it at US$20, checked October 20. Before choosing a size, compare the product measurements with a shirt you already like. If you are ordering to wear it on October 25, check the delivery estimate first; it can also be a keepsake to wear after the show.
Keep your pockets practical: ticket, physical debit card, keys and the small note with your return route. A phone-free evening works better when the rest of the outfit does not depend on the phone.

Your final check before heading out
- Venue: ÖVB-Arena, Findorffstraße 101.
- Timing: doors 18:30; show 20:00.
- Transport: public transport recommended; no Bürgerweide parking during Freimarkt.
- Payment: physical Girocard/EC debit card packed.
- Phone: essential calls and journey notes handled before Yondr entry.
Then put the planning away. The set’s movement between decades, the possibility of an unexpected cover and the final song are the reasons to be fully present.
