Ride Lonesome Tour · October 23, 2026 · Preview
Beck’s second Brooklyn Paramount night on October 23 is a good reason to arrive with more than an Odelay playlist in your ears. The Ride Lonesome shows have been moving from hushed, spacious songs toward a much louder finish, with “In the Night” the clearest opening pick and “Where It’s At” a strong main-set closer.

What a second night can actually change
The two Toronto shows offer the useful comparison here. October 14 leaned on “Ride Lonesome,” “Cold Brains” and “Disappearing Act”; October 15 brought in “Morning,” “Dear Life,” “Soldier Jane” and a different encore. The lesson for Brooklyn is to expect familiar anchors with a movable middle, rather than a completely different concert or a guaranteed repeat of night one.
For tonight, listen for the choice immediately after the opener. “Morning” points toward the softer early sequence heard in Boston and Toronto; the title track would give the opening a different weight. Later, the acoustic section and encore are the places where a second-night surprise fits most naturally. “Debra” is a credible possibility, not something to leave early assuming you have already heard.

Why this is the forecast
Across the five checked shows—Detroit, both Toronto nights, Boston and Philadelphia—“In the Night,” “Paper Tiger,” “For Your Love,” “The New Pollution,” “Gamma Ray,” “Think I’m in Love,” “Lost Cause,” “Devils Haircut,” “Loser” and “Where It’s At” appear in each published set report. Those songs carry more weight here than any one night’s rarity. The middle order and encore change more freely.

Before you go: Brooklyn Paramount
Use the downtown Brooklyn location
The venue is at 385 Flatbush Avenue Extension, at DeKalb and Flatbush. Its visitor guide points to the B/Q/R at DeKalb Avenue and the 2/3/4/5 at Nevins Street. Choose the return route before heading in, then check service changes on the day; a late-night subway plan is more useful than trying to find it while everyone leaves.
Read the door time correctly
The event details specify 7 PM doors and an 8 PM show. That is the evening’s start, not a confirmed Beck stage time. Ioanna Gika is listed on the bill. Aim to be through entry before the opening set, especially if you also want a drink or a look at the merchandise.
Pack for a cashless venue
Brooklyn Paramount allows bags up to 12 × 6 × 12 inches and searches them on entry; non-clear bags can take an additional search. Bring your mobile ticket and a working payment card. Coat check is available, with walk-up capacity limited. A light layer you can carry comfortably is the simpler option.
A short listening plan before the show
Start with “In the Night,” “Paper Tiger” and “For Your Love,” then move to “Think I’m in Love” and “Where It’s At.” That short run captures the change in pace better than putting every hit at the front of a playlist.
If you are new to Beck, start with the contrast between Odelay and Sea Change: one explains the rhythmic hooks, the other the quieter emotional pull. The current tour brings those impulses into the same evening. Beck’s official site has the current music and tour listings.
