Ride Lonesome Tour · October 31, 2026 · Preview

Beck’s Halloween-night show at The Truth on October 31 closes the October stretch of the Ride Lonesome Tour, with the rescheduled November dates still ahead. Expect the tour’s reflective opening and familiar late-set release; the calendar alone is no reason to promise costumes, guests or a special Halloween setlist.

What makes a believable Halloween prediction

The strongest clues are musical, not seasonal. “In the Night” has repeatedly opened recent shows, while “Paper Tiger,” “For Your Love,” “Lost Cause” and “Where It’s At” have been dependable anchors. The less predictable part is the route between them, where Beck has been moving newer songs, acoustic selections and brighter catalog cuts around.

For Nashville, the interesting watch is the last stretch and the return after the main set. “Debra” has appeared as an encore, and “True Love Will Find You in the End” has closed several shows; Toronto also supplied an “Old Man” alternative. None supports inventing a guest appearance for Nashville. A short, unadorned ending could be just as consistent with this tour as a bigger singalong.

Predicted Beck setlist for Nashville

This is our projected running order, built around the repeated songs and pacing of the October shows. The main-set sequence below leaves the encore separate.

  4. For Your Love
  5. Bleed
  6. Slow Canyon
  7. Run Away

  10. Dear Life
  11. Cold Brains

  14. Girl
  15. Nobody’s Fault but My Own
  16. Disappearing Act

  22. Where It’s At

Why this is the forecast

Across the five checked shows—Detroit, both Toronto nights, Boston and Philadelphia—“In the Night,” “Paper Tiger,” “For Your Love,” “The New Pollution,” “Gamma Ray,” “Think I’m in Love,” “Lost Cause,” “Devils Haircut,” “Loser” and “Where It’s At” appear in each published set report. Those songs carry more weight here than any one night’s rarity. The middle order and encore change more freely.

Set evidence: Detroit, October 12 · Toronto, October 14 · Toronto, October 15 · Boston, October 17 · Philadelphia, October 18. The Boston article is a review with a reported setlist; the other lists are audience-contributed records. Research cutoff: October 23. The October 22 Brooklyn page did not yet provide a usable completed song list when checked.

Before you go: The Truth

Use The Truth’s own Halloween-night schedule

The venue’s Know Before You Go page lists Beck on October 31 with 7 PM doors and an 8 PM show. Treat that as the start of the event, not a confirmed headliner time. Arrive with your ticket ready so the opener does not become background music you hear from the queue.

Set the pickup point before the encore

The Truth is at 440 Chestnut Street in Wedgewood Houston. Its visit guide directs rideshares to Hagan and Merritt; the FAQ gives 578 Hagan Street for the dedicated pickup/drop-off point. Save that location before entering. Drivers can use the venue’s linked parking options rather than circling for an unplanned space after arrival.

Keep the Halloween outfit easy to enter with

Bring a bag no larger than 12 × 6 × 12 inches, a mobile ticket and a payment card: The Truth is cashless. Re-entry is not permitted. Its FAQ prohibits weapons, chains, spiked jewelry and oversized signs, so leave costume props at home and check for any additional show-day restrictions. A comfortable outfit with a small bag will make the queue, coat check and trip home simpler.

A short listening plan before the show

End your preparation playlist with “Where It’s At,” “Debra” and “True Love Will Find You in the End.” They represent three very different kinds of payoff, and knowing the quieter closer makes it easier to appreciate the final turn if Beck takes it.

If you are new to Beck, start with the contrast between Odelay and Sea Change: one explains the rhythmic hooks, the other the quieter emotional pull. The current tour brings those impulses into the same evening. Beck’s official site has the current music and tour listings.
