Ride Lonesome Tour · October 27, 2026 · Preview
Beck’s October 27 DPAC stop looks especially appealing if the Sea Change and Morning Phase side of his catalog is what brings you back. The Ride Lonesome tour has been giving those songs room to breathe before working toward “Devils Haircut,” “Loser” and “Where It’s At.” Here is the likely song sequence and the Durham information to sort out before you leave.

Why the quieter songs belong near the top of your playlist
“Paper Tiger” has survived the changes across Detroit, both Toronto nights, Boston and Philadelphia. The tracks around it are less settled: “Morning,” “Ride Lonesome,” “Waking Light” and “Unforgiven” have occupied parts of that opening stretch. For Durham, the strongest prediction is the mood and core song, with those neighboring selections left flexible.
The later lift should feel earned. Listen for the point where “Think I’m in Love” brings the rhythmic side of the catalog forward. “Girl” and “E-Pro” are sensible picks, but neither needs to be treated as immovable. The recent shows also make an intimate encore plausible after the bigger main-set finish; a subdued last song would fit this tour perfectly well.

Why this is the forecast
Across the five checked shows—Detroit, both Toronto nights, Boston and Philadelphia—“In the Night,” “Paper Tiger,” “For Your Love,” “The New Pollution,” “Gamma Ray,” “Think I’m in Love,” “Lost Cause,” “Devils Haircut,” “Loser” and “Where It’s At” appear in each published set report. Those songs carry more weight here than any one night’s rarity. The middle order and encore change more freely.

Before you go: DPAC
Use the event’s published lobby schedule
DPAC’s Beck page lists lobby doors at 6:30 PM and the performance beginning at 7:30 PM, with Ioanna Gika and Wayne Faler. Those times are approximate and do not establish Beck’s individual stage time. Arriving around lobby opening gives you room to find the correct level and settle in.
Choose parking before the last approach
DPAC is at 123 William V Bill Bell Way. Its parking guide lists American Tobacco East Deck at 250 South Mangum Street and North Deck at 305 West Pettigrew Street. The guide warns that East Deck can fill 45–60 minutes before a show. Pick a first choice and an alternative, rather than budgeting only for the final short walk.
Bring the right essentials
The event requires digital tickets. Small clutch purses are recommended; large backpacks and oversized purses are not allowed. DPAC’s snack and beverage stands are cashless. Cameras, GoPros and tablets are prohibited, while the show’s specific phone-recording policy had not been announced when checked. Ask an usher rather than assuming phone filming is permitted. Children under six are not admitted to this performance.
A short listening plan before the show
Give “Paper Tiger,” “Morning” and “Heart Is a Drum” a proper listen before moving to “Gamma Ray” and “Loser.” The first group is central to the musical conversation on this tour, even when one of those rotating titles sits out a particular night.
If you are new to Beck, start with the contrast between Odelay and Sea Change: one explains the rhythmic hooks, the other the quieter emotional pull. The current tour brings those impulses into the same evening. Beck’s official site has the current music and tour listings.
